Season 2, subtitled REVENGE, aired in April 2021.
The cast includes:
Kaede Hondo
Asami Tano
Risa Taneda
Maki Kawase
Kotono Mitsuishi
Rika Kinugawa
Minami Tanaka
Mamoru Miyano
A FRESH TWIST ON THE LIVING DEAD
Crunchyroll, which streams both seasons, describes the series:
A typical morning. The usual music. Their normal lives.
Until everything is destroyed… by zombies.
Seven girls, each pulled from a different era of Japanese history, are resurrected to form the most unlikely idol group in history. Their goal? To revive the cultural spirit of Saga Prefecture — and maybe rediscover their humanity along the way.
With musical battles, heartfelt arcs, and absurd humor, ZOMBIE LAND SAGA has carved out its own corner of the idol genre. And with Yumeginga Paradise, it’s expanding into sci-fi territory with even bigger stakes.
