Bandai Namco Filmworks' official YouTube channel released a new character trailer featuring Gobta (CV: Asuna Tomari) for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea. The clip titled "Otokogi (Manliness) MAX Gobta PV" compiles highlights of Gobta, the central character of the film's story.

About the Film

The new film marks the second theatrical outing for Rimuru and crew after That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime The Movie: Scarlet Bond debuted in 2022 in Japan, followed by a theatrical release via Crunchyroll in January 2023.

The Story

The synopsis reads:

After concluding the opening ceremony of the Demon Kingdom Federation Tempest, Rimuru and his companions are invited by the Celestial Emperor Hermesia of the great elven nation – the Magi Dynasty Salion – to visit her private resort island. As the group enjoys their brief vacation, a mysterious woman named Yura appears. A new incident unfolds against the backdrop of the boundless azure sea.

Crunchyroll streams the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series and the first film Scarlet Bond in Japanese with subtitles and dubbed formats.

A fourth season is currently in production and will begin airing on April 3 in Japan.
