As announced back in September, sports manga BLUE LOCK has a live-action film adaptation in the works. CREDEUS (Kingdom, Golden Kamuy films) is producing the live-action BLUE LOCK film, set to premiere sometime in summer 2026.

About the Series

Adapting the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura.

Yuji Haibara (The Slime Diaries) directed the second season of BLUE LOCK anime at studio eightbit (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), with series composition by Taku Kishimoto, character designs by Kenji Tanabe and music by Jun Murayama.

A new anime was announced alongside the live-action film.
