Wound & Bandage has released a new teaser trailer and a theme visual titled “Nakama” ahead of its January 9, 2027 premiere. The announcement also introduces two more cast members.
Yuka Iguchi voices Magical Penpengusa, while Yoko Hikasa plays Matsu Daemon. Iguchi’s other roles include Crusch in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, and Hikasa voices Towa in Shangri-La Frontier.
The anime’s main trailer and a key visual are scheduled to be revealed on November 6, 2026.

Wound & Bandage Teaser Trailer
Miyuki Ishida directs the anime at J.C.STAFF, with scripts by Susumu Yamakawa and character designs by Natsuki Oyama. Ishida previously served as assistant director on Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive?, which also featured Oyama’s character designs. Yamakawa’s credits include Murai in Love.
Young yakuza member Go Kiritani is assigned to look after Riyo Washizu, his leader’s daughter. Riyo appears to be an ordinary child, but she has an unusual interest: seeing the vulnerable side of people who normally seem strong.
