More than three years after the sequel was first announced, the official website for the Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs anime today announced a 2026 broadcast and unveiled a teaser visual for Season 2.

Kazuya Miura (Unnamed Memory) returns to direct Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs Season 2 at studio ENGI, with series composition by Kenta Ihara (Sentenced to Be a Hero), character designs and chief animation direction by Masahiko Suzuki (I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!) and music by Kana Hashiguchi and Sho Aratame.
