The upcoming sequel to the yuri rom-com There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… has released a new full trailer, offering a glimpse at the series' chaotic next chapter. The anime sequel adapts Volume 4 of the original light novel and will debut in Japan as a limited theatrical cut subtitled ~Next Shine!~ on November 21, 2025.

Staff and Production
Directed by Natsumi Uchinuma at Studio MOTHER, the sequel features series composition by Naruhisa Arakawa, music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa, and character designs by kojikoji. The original story is written by Teren Mikami, with illustrations by Eku Takeshima.
Seven Seas publishes the light novel and manga in English, which follows high schooler Renako Amaori—a shy girl caught between real, fake, and competitive dating after being confessed to by the confident and beautiful Mai Oduka.
