Keisuke Onishi directs the anime at Studio Elle. Kurasumi Sunayama handles series composition, Yumiko Mizuno provides the character designs, and Yuri Habuka composes the music.
The original light novel series ran from 2015 to 2019 and spans 14 volumes. Fuh Araki’s ongoing manga adaptation is available in English through J-Novel Club, including on Crunchyroll Manga.
J-Novel Club describes the story:
After thousands of years spent studying magic in isolation, the eternally youthful sorcerer Asley finally leaves home at the insistence of his canine familiar, Pochi. Rejoining society means putting his abilities to the test, repairing his less-than-impressive reputation and facing dangers beyond his secluded life. Pochi is along for the adventure, with plenty of advice for a master who still has some growing up to do.
