Slime getting this much content shows its popularity; the franchise has become one of the biggest isekai juggernauts. April 2026 can't come soon enough; fans have been waiting to see where Rimuru's journey goes next. Back-to-back cours means no waiting between seasons—getting the first two cours consecutively keeps momentum strong. The "Important Announcements" livestream for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime revealed today that Season 4 will be split across five cours, and the first two will air back-to-back from April 2026.
