Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 just dropped a teaser trailer revealing a July 2026 broadcast date, and honestly, this is one of those sequels I didn't think we'd get but I'm absolutely thrilled about. The first season was pure fun - a wholesome isekai protagonist who just happens to look like a terrifying undead knight while having a heart of gold. The fact that PelleK is returning for the opening theme after absolutely nailing Season 1's OP is the cherry on top. New studio Aura Studio is taking over animation production from Studio KAI and HORNETS, so it'll be interesting to see their take on Arc's adventures.

A brand-new teaser trailer was released today for Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2, revealing a July 2026 return date for Arc and his skeleton crew, along with a key visual. PelleK, who performed the first season's opening song, was also announced to perform the opening theme for the second season.

Toshizo Nemoto comes in as series composer for Takeshi Kikuchi, and Toru Imanishi resumes his duties as character designer.

When Arc wakes up, he discovers that he has been transported to another world in the body of the character he was playing in an MMO. Looking like a suit of armor on the outside and a skeleton on the inside, he is the Skeleton Knight. If his identity is discovered, he could be mistaken for a monster and become a target! Arc decides to spend his time as a mercenary so as not to attract attention to himself.
