Hiromi Morishita’s gentle comedy series Sho 3 Ashibe QQ Goma-chan is getting a new short-form TV anime in Spring 2026. The manga follows Ashibe, now a third grader, and his beloved pet seal Goma-chan as they continue their quirky adventures through daily life.

The new anime will air in Japan beginning spring 2026. Direction and character design are handled by Kotaro Yamawaki at studio DLE. Kyohei Matsuno composes the music, with Kazuki Kuwahara as sound director and Mayu Murayama leading art direction.

Futabasha publishes the manga in its Manga Action magazine.
