About Rebuild World
Nahuse began publishing Rebuild World on Shosetsuka ni Naro in February 2017. ASCII Media Works picked up the series for print in 2019. Japan has received nine light novel volumes and 16 volumes of Kirihito Ayamura’s manga adaptation.
J-Novel Club publishes both the novels and manga in English. Based on its description, the story follows:
The ruins of a lost civilization hold technology that could make a hunter rich—or kill them before they return. Akira, a poorly equipped orphan from the slums, enters this dangerous world hoping to escape poverty. His chances improve when he encounters Alpha, a mysterious woman who offers to train and guide him. She needs a hunter for her own purposes, and their uneasy partnership gives Akira a path forward through ancient defenses, deadly creatures, and a society with little mercy for the weak.
