About the Manga

Takuma Yokota's original manga, translated to "The Story Between a Dumb Prefect and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length" and shortened to PonSuka, has been serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine since March 2019, releasing 19 collected volumes to date.

The Story

Sakuradaimon-kun is a disciplinarian, who checks students' appearance every morning at the school gate. Poem-chan is a high school girl who gets stopped every morning for her inappropriate skirt length.

One day, these two opposites bump into each other unexpectedly during remedial class. Sakuradaimon-kun, whom she thought was serious and uptight, turns out to be a hopelessly inept disciplinarian who can't study at all!

Though polar opposites, they gradually grow closer as they get to know each other. The story of Sakuradaimon-kun and Poem-chan—a tale of youth beginning with their encounter.
