Pokémon UNITE will end service on March 23, 2027, The Pokémon Company has announced. The free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena game will close after more than five years of operation.
In its official end-of-service notice, the company thanked players and outlined changes leading up to the shutdown. Sales of Aeos gems have been suspended, as have new UNITE Club membership purchases and automatic renewals.
The previously announced Pokémon UNITE Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo tournament is still scheduled to take place. Qualifier rounds begin December 5, 2026; the official notice has further details on the schedule and the shutdown.
Developed by TiMi Studio Group, Pokémon UNITE launched on Nintendo Switch in July 2021, followed by iOS and Android in September of that year.
