Code Geass: Lost Stories will end its Japanese service on December 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. JST, according to the game’s official shutdown notice. The mobile and PC game launched in Japan in May 2022.
Sales of in-game currency and select paid products ended on October 7, ahead of the shutdown. The free-to-play game’s English-language version previously launched on iOS and Android in September 2023 before closing in August 2024.
Lost Stories placed players alongside Lelouch as a trusted ally, bringing them into contact with familiar characters and untold stories in the fight against the Holy Britannian Empire.
The Code Geass anime is available on Crunchyroll. Its official synopsis introduces Lelouch’s story:
In the Imperial calendar year 2017, the Holy Britannian Empire controls much of the world. Exiled prince Lelouch Lamperouge meets C.C., a mysterious girl who grants him Geass: the ability to compel others to obey his commands. With that extraordinary power, Lelouch gains a weapon against the empire—and a dangerous new burden.
