A VILLAINESS WITH A VISION
Based on the light novels published in English by Hanashi Media, the story follows Prince Cecil, a brilliant but bored royal whose life takes a strange turn when he’s suddenly engaged to Miss Bertia, the eccentric daughter of the Chancellor.
But Bertia has a bold confession:
“Prince Cecil, I am the villain of this story!”
Claiming she remembers a past life where she played the antagonist in an otome game, Bertia is determined to embrace her “villainess role” to full effect — hoping to sabotage their engagement. Her antics, however, rarely go as planned.
What unfolds is a delightful tangle of reverse clichés, courtly chaos, and accidental romance, as Prince Cecil begins to find her strange behavior... oddly endearing.
MANGA ADAPTATION & LOCALIZATION
Alpha Manga publishes the manga version, titled An Observation Log of My Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess, adapted by Natsume Hasumi.
