Monster Eater Light Novel Gets Anime Adaptation for April 2026

Monster Eater is getting the anime treatment, and it's coming as a "light anime" format in April 2026. For those unfamiliar, light anime typically refers to shorter-form anime adaptations with abbreviated episode lengths or streamlined production. The teaser trailer and art just dropped, giving us a glimpse of what looks like a dark fantasy series with some intense monster-battling action. Based on Renkino's original work with a LINE Manga webtoon adaptation, Monster Eater is being directed by Hikaru Sato at Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio. If you're into fantasy light novels with monster hunting and presumably some kind of eating mechanic (based on the title), this one's worth keeping an eye on.
