The upcoming light anime based on the light novel and manga series Monster Eater published a new teaser trailer and revealed the voice actors for its two leading roles. In the series, voice actor Makoto Furukawa plays Rudd, while voice actor Yuki Nakashima plays Elyssia. The series broadcasts in Japan beginning in April 2026.

The Story

Rudd's a nobody—just an E-Rank adventurer with a seemingly useless talent of status immunity. An outcast in a city obsessed with labyrinth crawling, he's stuck scraping by as a "grubby forager," navigating guild politics and backstabbing adventurers just to survive.

But when a betrayal leaves him for dead without any supplies or help, he does the unthinkable and consumes the flesh of fallen monsters...
