Ten years of KONOSUBA. A decade of Kazuma's suffering, Aqua's uselessness, Megumin's explosions, and Darkness's... well, Darkness being Darkness. The 10th anniversary livestream just confirmed what we all hoped for - the previously announced sequel is officially Season 4. KONOSUBA has been one of the most consistently hilarious isekai anime out there, perfectly subverting every fantasy trope while somehow also embracing them. The commemorative visual looks gorgeous, featuring the whole dysfunctional party we've come to love. Plus, there's a new mobile/PC game titled "Prosperity on This Beloved City!" and an audio drama with seasonal episodes. More details on Season 4 are coming later, but just knowing it's confirmed is enough to celebrate.

The KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! anime's 10th anniversary livestream today confirmed that the previously announced sequel is a fourth season, with more details to come at a later date.

Celebrations of the double-digit milestone also included the reveal of a commemorative visual, along with an event, a new exhibition, an audio drama with episodes set in different seasons and a new video game for mobile and PC. The latter is subtitled "Kono Aisubeki Machi ni Hanei wo!" ("Prosperity on This Beloved City!").

Based on the light novels by Natsume Akatsuki and Kurone Mishima, the third season of KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! was helmed by series director Takaomi Kanasaki and directed by Yujiro Abe (Kaguya-sama: Love is War episode director) at studio Drive, with Makoto Uezu and Koichi Kikuta also returning as series composer and character designer, respectively.

After dying a hilarious and pathetic death on his way back from buying a game, high school student Kazuma Satou finds himself sitting before an obnoxious goddess named Aqua. She provides the NEET with two options: continue on to heaven or reincarnate in every gamer's dream - a real fantasy world! Choosing to start a new life, Kazuma is tasked with defeating the Demon King who is terrorizing the world. However, Kazuma's gamer instincts kick in, and he chooses to bring Aqua herself to the new world, forming the most dysfunctional adventuring party imaginable with a useless goddess, an explosion-obsessed archmage, and a masochistic crusader.
