The isekai power fantasy that took 2023 by storm is coming back stronger than ever. During the Fantasia Bunko Broadcasting Station Autumn Big Thanks Festival, fans were treated to exciting news — a brand-new TV special for I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too is officially scheduled to air in March 2026.

Unlike the previous season, this new story will adapt material from the fifth volume of the original light novel series by Miku, featuring illustrations by Rein Kuwashima.

THE REVEAL EVENT

Voice actors Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Yuya Tenjo), Akari Kito (Kaori Hojo), and Kaori Maeda (Lexia von Arselia) appeared during the livestream to break the news directly to fans.

The trio shared that voice recording has yet to begin, and even they haven’t seen the script, hinting that the project is still in its early production phase. A short teaser video was also released, teasing the continuation of Yuya’s journey as his two worlds once again begin to collide.

ABOUT THE SERIES

The Cheat Skill anime first aired in April 2023, running for 13 episodes animated by Studio Millepensee. It quickly earned attention for its blend of isekai adventure and personal transformation, following Yuya Tenjo, a boy who has endured a lifetime of neglect and bullying.

Everything changes when he inherits his late grandfather’s house and discovers a mysterious door that leads to another world brimming with treasures, monsters, and magic. Gaining new abilities, Yuya finds himself reborn — not just in the fantasy realm, but also back in reality, where his strength and confidence begin to reshape his entire life.
