About Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent

The original manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine since January 2021. Eleven collected volumes have been released in Japan, and Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the series in English.

Studio Echo describes the story:

Hiro Momose wants a peaceful high school life, far away from delinquents and the trouble they bring. When she meets Dan Ichikura, a quiet-looking boy with dark hair and glasses, he seems like exactly the kind of ordinary classmate she can relax around.

Then she discovers that Ichikura used to be a notorious delinquent in junior high. He insists those days are behind him, but his readiness to pick a fight makes that promise difficult to believe.

Now Momose is caught between the harmless image he presents and the rowdy past he wants to leave behind. Keeping his secret may be the first complication in a school life that is turning out to be anything but peaceful.

Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent is scheduled to begin broadcasting in April 2027.
