Disney+ unveiled a surprise for fans of its bishonen villain adaptation: a new teaser clip confirming that Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation will continue with a second season, and production is already greenlit through Season 3.
The special video debuted at the Disney+ Original Preview 2025 event in Hong Kong. After recapping Season 1’s “Episode of Heartslabyul,” the clip transitions to Leona Kingscholar (voiced by Yuichiro Umehara), leader of Savanaclaw Dorm, confirming Season 2 will adapt the “Episode of Savanaclaw” arc.

Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation Special Clip
Season 1 began streaming globally via Disney+ on October 29, 2025 with eight episodes focused on Heartslabyul Dorm. While the release date for Season 2 remains unannounced, Disney also confirmed plans for Season 3, titled “Episode of Octavinelle.”
Takahiro Natori (TOKYO MEW MEW NEW) is leading the project’s series composition and also serves as chief director. Shin Katagai (The Ossan Newbie Adventurer) directs at studios Yumeta Company and Graphinica. Scripts are handled by Yoichi Kato, with animation character designs by Haruka Nakano and Akane Sato, adapted from original artist Yana Toboso (Black Butler).

Summoned by a magic mirror to Twisted Wonderland, a world altogether unlike your own, you arrive at Night Raven College, a prestigious arcane academy. With nowhere else to go, you accept the masked headmage's hospitality and begin searching for a way home.
