Season 2 after five years is welcome return—getting more WAN! after the 2021 first season rewards patient fans. Expanded character roster shows series growth; adding more characters from the main franchise enriches the gag spin-off. The official website for the Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! TV anime announced that the upcoming second season is set to premiere in Japan in July 2026. The site also released a main visual, including the main and new characters. New visuals for each of the main characters were also released. The voice cast for the new characters were not announced at the time of reporting.

About the Manga

As the Bungo Stray Dogs franchise's official spin-off gag manga illustrated by Neko Kanai, Bungo Stray Dogs WAN! is serialized on KADOKAWA's Young Ace UP website since December 2015, releasing 15 collective volumes to date.

The first season of the TV anime adaptation aired for 12 episodes from January to March 2021.
