Black Clover is back and I'm so hyped—fans have been waiting for the anime to return since the original series ended in 2021. Original cast returning is perfect; Gakuto Kajiwara as Asta, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Yuno, and the rest bring such energy to their roles. 2026 can't come soon enough; after the movie and manga continuation, seeing the story animated again will be amazing. The teaser visual looks intense—Asta's demon form surrounded by other characters promises epic battles ahead.

The Black Clover stage event at Jump Festa 2026 announced more today about the newest anime adaptation, releasing a new teaser trailer and visual to reveal the upcoming anime will premiere in 2026. Crunchyroll will stream the series when it airs next year.

About the Series

Yuki Tabata began the original Black Clover manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015, and moved to Jump Giga in December 2023. 37 volumes have been released in Japan to date.

Previous Adaptations

The first anime adaptation directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara at studio Pierrot aired from October 2017 to March 2021 for a total of 170 episodes.

The anime movie Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King was released in Japan in March 2023.
