BanG Dream! just keeps expanding, and I'm here for it. The newest entry, BanG Dream! YUME ∞ MITA, just dropped a trailer and key art that looks absolutely gorgeous. This time we're following Mugendai Mewtype (nicknamed "Yumemita"), an all-girl virtual band whose story apparently transcends "virtual dreams and concrete reality" - which sounds like exactly the kind of meta concept BanG Dream! loves to explore. If you've been following the franchise through It's MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica, you know this series has a knack for creating compelling band dynamics and emotional storytelling. Summer 2026 on TOKYO MX can't come soon enough.

The newest TV anime series in the BanG Dream! music-themed mixed media project, BanG Dream! YUME ∞ MITA, revealed a wealth of new information today, including a new piece of key art, an official trailer and the main staff for the series. BanG Dream! YUME ∞ MITA will broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and other stations beginning in summer 2026.

Staff

BanG Dream! YUME ∞ MITA is based on original work by Bushiroad. Tomomi Umetsu directs the anime at animation studio NICHICALINE, with assistant direction by Hiroshi Morita, series composition by Midori Goto, character designs by Osamu Nobusawa and Mochibuyo and animation character designs by Takuya Chanohara and Yuka Yamori. PHYZ serves as music producer with music production by Bushiroad Music.
