Japanese publisher TO Books announced today that the Ascendance of a Bookworm series has surpassed 13 million copies (including digital editions) sold. The series reached the 10 million copy milestone in November 2023, shortly before the 33rd volume of the main series was released. This means another three million copies were added over the following two years.

Anime Season 4 Details

The novel's anime adaptation aired three seasons from 2019 to 2022. The upcoming fourth season, titled Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke, is set to premiere in Japan on April 4, 2026.
