The four seasons mythology sounds beautiful—a story about seasons as living entities with relationships and emotions is poetic. WIT Studio doing fantasy is always great; their work on series like Vinland Saga and Ranking of Kings shows they excel at atmospheric storytelling. Kensuke Ushio's music will be perfect for this; his compositions for Devilman Crybaby and BLEACH prove he can capture emotional depth. The winter visual looks gorgeous—the aesthetic perfectly captures the mythological tone of the series.

The upcoming TV anime based on the fantasy adventure light novel series Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring revealed a new winter-themed visual today as well as additional production details. Kensuke Ushio provides the music for the series, which will broadcast in Japan beginning in spring 2026.

The Story

Winter was once the only season in the world—but such an existence was too lonely to bear, and so it created Spring to love. Before long, the earth wished for more time to rest in the cycle, and Summer and Autumn were born. The ones who carry the cycle are called the Agents of the Four Seasons.

Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, disappeared from this land ten years ago, taking the season of spring with her. Now, after incredible hardship, she has returned to restore the cycle to its proper state—and, as in the myth passed down since the dawn of time, she sends her love to Winter.
