Kazuchika Kise provides original character designs, with character designs by Tetsuya Nishio, Takashi Kojima and Shingo Ogiso. Kunio Okawara supplies the original mechanical designs, while Shinobu Tsuneki, Yoshihiro Sono, Juu Ishiguchi and Wataru Inada handle mechanical designs. Kenji Kawai composes the music.
As the Hundred Year War between Gilgamesh and Balarant nears its end, officer Maki Staufenberg is sent to Valkyria II in the Asgard system. Her assignment is to investigate Ash Vamps, a soldier known as the “Witch” for repeatedly returning as the sole survivor of missions undertaken by her punishment unit.
