The upcoming anime Kunon the Sorcerer Can See will feature a unique musical presence: virtual singer Isekaijoucho will perform the opening theme “Lachenalia no Yume” (“The Dream of Lachenalia”). The series premieres in Japan and on Crunchyroll starting January 2026.
In a statement, Isekaijoucho described the track as one that reflects quiet resolve and inner strength, mirroring protagonist Kunon’s growth through adversity and ambition. Known for their ethereal vocal style and digital artistry, Isekaijoucho is affiliated with KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and previously performed the OP for Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time Season 2.
About the Anime
Adapted from the light novel by Umikaze Minamino and illustrated by Laruha, Kunon the Sorcerer Can See is directed by Hideaki Oba at Platinum Vision, with scripts by Yuki Enatsu and music by Shunsuke Takizawa.
The story follows Kunon, a blind prodigy who pushes the limits of magic in pursuit of creating new eyes using water sorcery. Despite setbacks, he aims to achieve the impossible and reshape the world with sheer curiosity.
