Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has unveiled a new visual ahead of its October 20 Netflix debut. The artwork spotlights the central crew of Roman, D, Weak and Talia, alongside several supporting characters.

Kai Ikarashi directs the new series at TRIGGER, with series composition by Masahiko Otsuka, character designs by Ichigo Kanno and music by Tsuneo Imahori.

The anime takes place in the universe of R. Talsorian Games’ tabletop RPG and CD PROJEKT RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. The original Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi at TRIGGER and won Anime of the Year at the 2023 Anime Awards.

The series synopsis introduces the new story:

Night City brings together lives shaped by loss, ambition and unfinished business. Weak, a former cyberpunk legend now living without chrome, searches for purpose in a world that has moved on. Elsewhere, the nomad D pursues revenge and gets dangerously close to buried corporate secrets. Across this ten-episode standalone series, their intertwined paths explore family, obsession and the legacies people leave behind.
