Japanese pop sensation Ado has released the official music video for her new single “MAGIC”, the opening theme for the 2025 anime reboot of Cat’s Eye, based on Tsukasa Hojo’s classic crime-action manga. The full video debuted on her YouTube channel on October 31.

The track marks Ado’s first collaboration with famed vocaloid producer Tsumiki, while the vibrant, casino-inspired visuals were illustrated by BAKUI and animated by ZIIEK.

Ado also performs the anime’s ending theme, a modern cover of the original Cat’s Eye opening song from 1983, originally sung by Anri.

About the Anime

Streaming on Disney+ Star, the new Cat’s Eye anime is directed by Yoshifumi Sueda at LIDEN FILMS, with music by Yuki Hayashi and character designs by Yosuke Yabumoto. Episodes 1–6 are available now, with weekly episodes resuming December 26.

Cat’s Eye follows three sisters who secretly operate as an elite art thief unit, targeting the works of a single mysterious painter. Their heists play out under the nose of a detective who’s dating one of the sisters—without knowing her true identity.
